The ongoing Samaikyandhra protests against the CWC decision for state bifurcation rocks the city with rallies, human chains, food programs, etc.,. Thousands of people coming onto the roads voluntarily supporting the Samaikyandhra movement. Students, Employees, Lawyers, Doctors and many others from the society doing protests in their own ways demanding to keep the state united 'Samaikyandhra'.
Yesterday, a large number of students from several schools and colleges along with political leaders, activists, government employees, lawyers and a cross section of the people from the district, rendered the Telugu song ''Ma Telugu Talliki Malle Pudanda' in unison at Govt Arts College grounds at Rajahmundry, in support to the on-going agitation for Samaikyandhra.
Teachers working in government schools are going to join the ongoing stir from Thursda, with a demand for the state to remain united opposing the proposed bifurcation to set up a separate Telangana state. On otherside, the United Teachers Federation (UTF) called upon the teachers to withdraw the decision of strike.
