Amalapuram, Nov 21st: Konaseema Institute of Medical Sciences has inaugurated GLITZ-2008 in the occasion of its fifth anniversary function. As a part of the program, sports and cultural activities were conducted which were started in a lively environment
The program was inaugurated on Friday and continues for 2 days. Dr. Metla Satyanarayana hoisted the KIMS flag and started the cultural programs, in which the medicos has participated actively and the funny stalls arranged by the students was the main attraction in the show.
KIMS as a super specialty in 2009
Amalapuram KIMS chairman Dr. K.V.V. Satyanarayana Raju speaking on the occasion said that they were planning to develop the hospital as a super specialty clinic by 2009. As a part of this they were importing latest and most effective technical equipment form foreign countries with a cost of 45 crores.
KIMS managing director Ravi Varma said that under the scheme of Rajiv Arogyasri their hospital has conducted 800 operations in which no single case turned fail. On Saturday the hospital is conducting awareness program to the medicos to give guidance for their future studies.
