Hyderabad, June 11th: An 18 year old girl, Rubaina was pushed from the first floor of the historic monument Charminar by her believed boy friend, Arshad with whom she came on Thursday evening. The girl survived the fall and was battling for life at Osmania General Hospital with multiple factures on her head, Spinal and pelvic. The hospital doctors declare her condition to be critical as there was a heavy loss of blood and four units of blood was already given to her.

 

Police initially thought that Rubaina might have slipped accidentally or attempted suicide. But according to the information given by her to the police, she was wontedly pushed by her boy friend with a motive to end her life. As Rubaina was severely disoriented she was able to give only few details of her address and the identification of Arshad to the police. She told the police that she is a resident of Talabkatta in the old city and her father name is Mohammed Yousuf.

 

After speaking to the security guards and what they gathered through her replies the police believe that Rubaina and Arshad came to Charminar and went up to the first floor. After few minutes she fell on the steps between the two minarets. An ambulance was called and the girl was shifted to Osmania Medical Hospital. The police ordered the closure of Charminar for visitors after the incident.

 

The Charminar inspector, Mr. Karan Kumar Singh said that some phone numbers were found in Rubaina’s bag and they were trying to locate the family members and trace Arshad. Police filed the murder attempt case and investigating for the prime suspect, Arshad.
