Kakinada, Dec 29th: A three year old unidentified girl was found dead in a suspicious manner in a drain at the early hours of Monday. The incident took place at Turangi near Bhaskara Theater in city suburbs. The incident came into picture when the municipality people come for cleaning the drain on Monday morning.
According to the information given by the eye witness, an unidentified person was found moving in the area with a bag in the hands at the late night on Sunday. He was found roaming in the street and disappeared after some time. Lorry driver, an eye witness said that he could not identify the person as it was late night.
As the municipality people approached the area for cleaning the drain they found the body and informed the same to the police. Police found bleeding injuries on the nose of the baby and swelling in the lips. They shifted the body to the mortuary of the Kakinada government general hospital.
Police said that the dead body will be kept in mortuary for three days and postmortem will be done on Thursday. Cops filed the case and doing investigation the case both in the angles of murder and accident.
