Kakinada, Jan 19th: A girl died in a road accident that took place on Monday. The accident took place at Kacheripeta near Warf road. The girl died at the spot when the tipper hit the bicycle form back. The other girl who is a friend of her faced severe injuries and was admitted in the government hospital for treatment.
According to the traffic police, Pemmadi Veeramani (18) is a resident of indrapalem in Kakinada rural. She along with her friend Vara Lakshmi was going along the warf road to meet her aunt. A tipper which was approaching the road from back side has hit the bicycle from back. Veeramani was injured seriously and died at the spot. Vara Lakshmi faced severe injuries and admitted in the hospital. Traffic SI K Narasimha Murthy has filed the accident case for further investigation. Villagers alleged to stop the passage of tippers in that area so as to avoid the accidents further.
