District Collector Mrs. Neetu Kumari Prasad has ordered the officials to get ready for the coming Village Panchayat Elections. Yesterday, she has conducted a review meet with Revenue, Panchayat, Police and other related officials about the elections at Collectorate in Kakinada. Speaking on this, she said, these elections will be conducted for total 10,758 wards in 963 Villages in the district. Remaining 17 villages are having some court cases, so these elections will be conducted later for those villages, she added. She asked the officials to do arrangements for these elections, as the reservations were declared by the government on Friday. She also discussed about polling, security and other issues in this meeting. Sub Collector Mr. Gandham Chandrudu, DRO Mr. B.Yadagiri, DPO Mr. Sridhar Reddy, ZP CEO Mr. Jayaraj, RDO's Mr. Sampath Kumar, Mr. Jawaharlal Nehru and other officials participated in the meeting.
