The Central Election Commission has issued the notification for Lok Sabha & Assembly elections, here on Wednesday. As per the schedule, both Assembly and Lok Sabha elections are to be held to Andhra Pradesh state in two phases. First phase will be on 30th of April and second phase will be on 7th of May. Here the information of polls as per the schedule of election commission.
On 30th April, 2014 : Assembly Elections for 119 Assembly constituencies and 17 Lok sabha constituencies in Telangana Region.
On 7th May, 2014 : Assembly Elections in 175 Assembly constituencies and 25 Lok Sabha constituencies in Seemandhra region.
According to this, the district authorities getting ready for the elections by conducting all the necessary arrangements. The authorities are going to conduct special voter enrollment camps in the district on 9th of this month. People (above 18yrs) who were not having their vote can enroll their details in this camp or else they can directly meet at the respective Tahsildar/ RDO offices to enroll their vote. Youth who will complete 18yrs by 1st May 2014 are eligible to apply for vote for this year, officials added.
