After completion of Nine days festival, the Ganesh Nimajjan (Immersion of Ganesh Idols) festival has been grandly celebrated, here on Sunday. Firstly, the devotees performed special pooja and later they have conducted huge processions with Ganesh idols in the City. Around 300 idols were being immersed at Upputeru near Jagannaikcpur bridge in Kakinada. Big Cranes and Generators were used for this immersion program. Huge number of Devotees participated in the processions. The Kakinada Ganesh Utsav Committee organised this fest with the support of District Administration. Police arranged bandobust for the idols processions. District Collector Mrs. Neetu Kumari Prasad inaugurate the program and Ganesh Utsav Committee members Chairman Mr.Dusarlapudi Ramana Raju, Secretary Subramunyam, Pydha Bhavana Prasad, Kondayya, Darsi Pullayya, Neti Goapla Kirshna, N.V.saibaba,Bandaru Bhaskar, Kuchimunchi Venu Goapal, Manoj Kumar, Chekka Ramesh are going to participated in this program.
