Mr.G.Srinivas took charge as East Godavari district Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office here on Wednesday. He replaced Y.Nagi Reddy who has been posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police (North) in Hyderabad. Prior to the current appointment, Mr. Srinivas was SP of Special Intelligence Bureau in the State Capital. Speaking to media persons, Mr. Srinivas said prevention and detection of crime and traffic would be his top priorities. He planned to hold Dial Your SP program every Monday from 10am to 11am. People can convey their grievances to him over toll free number 1000. Earlier, Mr.Srinivas met the Collector M.Ravi Chandra at Collectorate. They had a discussion on various issues.
