State Government had released funds of Rs. 27,25,640 to the District Agriculture Technology Management Agency (ATMA) for 2012-13 financial year. According to this, ATMA District Project Director Mr. Sita Rama Raju had released a press note here on Tuesday. He said, this is the State Government's Matching Grant. The released funds are distributed as below; Rs. 1,79,870 for Scheduled Tribes, Rs. 4,41,560 for Scheduled Castes and remaining for general categories, he said. But still Rs. 1.76 Crores are yet to be released by the state Government to the district, he added. He stated that chemicals, seeds and other pesticides will be distributed to SC, ST farmers for free under this project. We are also going to provide free training programs to the Farmers under this project, that he added.
