Rajahmundry, Crime News 22nd: Friends killed a man with iron rods at Rajendra nagar in Rajahmundry on Tuesday. His wife was also seriously injured in the incident. The incident took place at 1.30 am in the midnight when both wife and husband were sleeping.
According to the sources provided by villagers and police, Danala Ramaguru (25) was inhabitant of Rajendra nagar, working in a marble shop. He married Fathima 3 years back and was living in a small house. 15 days back Ramaguru went to Ponnuru for some office work and he was back on Wednesday.
Due to some old clashes between the friends, they killed Ramaguru by beating with iron rods on the head, fathima was also seriously injured. She escaped to relative’s house and rushed to hospital for treatment. By hearing the news DSP Saibaba, CI Trinathrao, additional SI Satyanarayana came to the incident place and filed the case. Police said that they will go ahead with the investigation.
