Social Welfare Minister, Pilli Subhash Chandrabose announced that health check-ups would be conducted for students staying in welfare hostels across the State from 14th November. Minister Pilli Subhash Chandrabose inaugurated blood grouping and hemoglobin tests camp organized by the Collector for the students of social welfare hostel of Jagannaickpur here on Wednesday. Mr. Chandrabose said the hostel wardens keep a check on the health of the students, so that the required care could be taken. Stating that the government was taking good care of the students, he advised the students to make better use of the opportunities and score good marks in the examinations. District Collector Mr. M. Ravi Chandra observed that children are facing health problems due to anemia and these blood test camps will help as remedy for the problems he added. He said that blood tests camps for nearly 45,000 students of 326 hostels across the District would be conducted. Zilla Parishad Chairman Mr. Ch.
