Kakinada, Mar 18th: The Lions club, Kakinada city unit has conduced free eye camp in Sambhamurthy Nagar area on Tuesday. The management has also organized the camps at various other places like Sanjay Nagar and Revenue colony. Nearly 150 patients attended and underwent medical tests at the camp organized at Sambhamurthy Nagar. The program was organized under the chairmanship of club president, Mr. Dilip Kumar Sadani.
Ophthalmologists of Kakinada General Hospital, Dr.G. Surya Bhavani, Dr. S. Sarala and Dr. V Padmavathi examined the patients. They gave valuable suggestions and precaution to be taken for eye related problems. Medicines and glasses were prescribed to the needy. Later club management distributed medicines. Doctors identified few operation cases and referred them to government general hospital. Lions club member Narsimhamurthy and others participated.
