On the ocassion of ‘World Sight Day’ ,Lions Club Kakinada Vision organized a free Eye checkup camp for Chaitanya Public School students here on Tuesday at Kakinada Rural Gaigolupadu area. The checkup was conducted for total 350 students from the school. Ophthalmology Doctors Dr. Mallikarjuna Raju & Dr. Srikanth conducted eye checkups for these students. According to this, Dr. T.S.Chandragupta presided over the camp as a chief guest. Speaking on this, every student should remember the great proverb ‘Sarvendhriyanaam Nayanam Pradhanam’ & he also explained about the importance of human eye. He suggested all the students to eat healthy food, which contains ‘Vitamin A’. Lions Club Kakinada Vision President Padmajavani, Program Coordinator Devakidevi, Chaitanya Public School Correspondent Rama Vijayalakshmi, Club Members C.Indira Devo, M.Ramasundari and others participated in the program.
