Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) traps Forest Officer while taking bribe here on Sunday in a mobile shop at Bhanugudi jn, Kakinada. According to the sources, the Deputy Forest Range Officer (D.F.R.O) for Katrenikona Mandal Kandikuppa Section Mr. Kancherla Jayananda Rao was raided at Sangeeta Mobiles Store in Bhanugudi jn while accepting a bribe of Rs.7000/- from Pichetti Ramana Rao. Police said that the D.F.R.O was raided while sending the wood furniture to Picheti Ramana Rao's home by declaring them as illegal material and demanded him for Rs.7000/- bribe. The officer asked him to purchase a mobile worth of Rs.1100/- at Sangeeta mobiles store and later he took the remaining amount from the worker. Meanwhile, the ACB team laid a trap on the mobile shop and caught the officer while accepting the bribe as per the complaint given by Picheti Ramana Rao to Rajahmundry ACB DSP Mr. N. Venkateswara Rao.
