First Assembly session on June 3

Hyderabad, May 27th: According to the notification issued by state Governor, Mr. N.D Tiwari, the first session of the newly elected house of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly will be held on June 3. Governor will administer the oath to the Pro-term Speaker appointed by him on June 3.

 

Later the house will meet with Pro-term Speaker who will administer the oath to all the members and announce the election scheduled for the post of speaker which will be held on June 4. The elected speaker will take charges form the pro-Speaker on the same day. This will be followed by governor’s address to the joint session of both the legislatures on June 5. Both the houses will meet separately to adopt thanks giving motion on the governor’s address.

 

Mr. N. Kiran Kumar Reddy who was been named the speaker of the Assembly was congratulated by other party leaders. Praja Rajyam Party president, Mr. Chiranjeevi has conveyed his greetings to Mr. Kiram Kumar and the latter sought the cooperation from him in the smooth conduct of the house proceedings.
