A major Fire Accident has taken place in the storage unit of Adani Wilmar Limited, a reputed oil company at Kakinada Rural mandal, Suryaraopeta area, here on Wednesday. In the Morning, the mishap has suddenly occured due to the stress of oil wastage, which is stored in the Processing unit. While the flames spread, the employees immediately informed to Kakinada Fire control department. Fire Officer Mr. V.V.Ramakrishna, Leading Officer Mr. K.Satyam and team came on action, immediately after listening the issue and controlled the fire. Around Rs.50 thousand worth property lost in this incident, but no one has injured because all the workers are on strike at that time, sources said. Listening to this, Kakinada Rural MLA Mr. Kanna Babu visited the company and enquired about the accident. Rural Tahsildar Mr. Joseph also visited the company and observed the situation.
