Kakinada, Feb 4th: Major firebroke out at ‘Good Health Agrotech Limited’, Suryaraopeta on Wednesday. The accident took place on Wednesday morning when the company is going ahead with the welding works at the cooling tower. This is the second time the company facing the fire accident. Previously the accident took place on October 29th ,2008 and 800 tones of oil caught fire which caused severe damage. Company estimated that nearly 5 crore Rs property was destroyed during that time.
According to the sources provided by the police, company management and revenue officers, the accident took place when the cooling tower which was under repair suddenly caught fire. The company management and the workers became alert immediately and tried to put off the flames due to which the damage caused was very little. Estimations say that property worth Rs10, 000 was damaged. On hearing the news, fire officer Sarath, revenue officer Subbarao, V.R.O Srinivasa Rao, sarpanch Satyanarayana and others visited the accident place.
