Fire accident in general market

Rajahmundry, Oct 19th: Fire accident took place at Sri Venkateswara general market near RTC complex in the early hours of Sunday. The market was almost damaged and nearly 8 lakhs of store items were turned to ash.

     According to the sources, the accident took place between 5 and 5.30am at 6 and 7 shops in C-Block. By receiving the information, the fire department reached the spot and started controlling the fire. By the time almost the shops were damaged and nearly 4.5 lakh cash caught fire.

     The fire department showed their suspension that the accident took place due to Diwali crackers in the shops. Fire officer Jagan said that, they will do the investigation from other angles also. Corperator Satish and market president Srinivasa Rao visited the incident place.
