Kakinada, Jan 7th: State finance minister Mr. K Rosaiah visited East Godavari District to participate in private programs held here on Wednesday. He participated in various programs that took place in the district. Initially Rosaiah took part in the meeting conducted by Y.M.V.A Arya Vysya Mahasabha, Kakinada. The meeting was headed by Mandal president Gollapudi Babji. Minister garlanded the statue of Potti Sriramulu and initialed the program. Speaking on the occasion he appreciated the services of the Arya Vysya Mahasabha towards the society. Later he distributed clothes and food grains to the poor. Correspondent Krishna Mohan honored the minister.
Minister visit to Gokulam
Minister visited Gokulam, temple of Lord Krishna situated at Ashoknagar, Kakinada. He offered poojas to Lord Krishna on the auspicious day, Mukkoti Ekadasi. He felt very glad to be here on such an auspicious day. He liked the atmosphere of the temple and appreciated the temple committee for their well maintenance of the temple. Z.P Chairman Ch.S Gopala Krishna, MLA Mutta Gopala Krishna Corporator G.Nageswara Rao and many more accompanied the minister in the program.
Later in the afternoon, Minister Mr. Rosaiah visited Badam Bala Krishna Eye bank. He planted plants in the eye bank premises and initiated the program conducted over there. Eye Bank Chairman Badam Bala Krishna elucidated the services of the bank to the minister. Rosaiah said that the services rendered by the eye bank are inspiration and spirit to many of the welfare societies in the state.
Mr. K Rosaiah garlanded the statue of Dr. B.R Ambedkar after unveiling it at Mutta Nagar in Kakinada. In this occasion he recalled the service of Mr. Ambedkar for the development of the weaker sections. MLA Mutta Gopala Krishna, Ambedkar Yuvajana Society President J. Ram Murthy and many more participated in the program.
