Cooperative Union Employees here on Monday staged a Dharna protesting to fill up the vacancies in District Central Cooperative Bank (DCCB) by Union employees. They also demanded to disburse the salaries according to G.O 151. Participating in the Dharna staged before DCCB bank, Cooperative Employees Union District President, Mr. K.Tirumala Kumar demanded that along with PAC, salaries must be endured with DCCB and APKAB. As NABARD guidelines were given to DCCB, 2% working fund must be applicable to Unions. They invaded that Government assured that problems faced by the employees will be solved but they did not take action until now. Protesting with the placards, they demanded that at least now the Government should react and solve their problems. If Government did not react, they will stage Dharna on this month 18th opposite to APKAB office and indefinite strike on 21st of February. In this Dharna, Honorable President Mr, Seshu Babji, Treasurer Mr. Rehman, Chief Secretary Penke Satyanarayana, Ramanarao, Satyanarayana, Venkateswarao and nearly 600 Cooperative Union Employees participated.
