The students and staff of Andhra University PG centre felicitated Senior Professor in English Mr. T. Viswanadha Rao to mark his retirement here on Tuesday. Prof. Rao served the University for 33 years and worked as various faculties. Participating as chief guest Vice-Chancellor of Vikrama Simhapuri University Mr. C.R. Visweswara Rao recalled his association with Prof. Rao and described his service as “Voyage of Self Discovery.” He said Prof. Viswanadha Rao is a committed and passionate teacher. Kakinada Revenue Divisional Officer Mr. G.C. Kishore Kumar, who is a student of Prof. Rao, said Prof. Rao is a man of wisdom and passionate reader. Head of the English Department Soma Latha presided over the function. Former Principal of the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Engineering College, A. Sri Rama Rao, Former Head of the English Department in the PG Centre Mr. D.J.P.N. Reddy and others recalled their association with Prof. Rao. Students and former students of Prof. Rao felicitated to him and his wife Rajyalakshmi. In his response to the felicitation, Prof. Rao thanked each and everyone those who supported him, right from the first day of his career.
