Sri Venkateswara Ayurveda Nilayam Limited (VAN), Chintaluru in East Godavari district, has been selected by the Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FAPCCI) for its award in `Innovative product in health care with social impact' category. VAN Managing Director Dwibhashyam Venkata Sreerama Murthy took the award from Chief Minister K Rosaiah at a FAPCCI conference held in Hyderabad Monday evening. Mr. Murthy stated in a press release that VAN was ISO 9001 – 2000 certified and it has received patents for anti – stress herbal formulation `Vedaswa' and anti – diabetic herbo – mineral composition VK4 DIACON. VAN was established in 1925 with the objective of giving the best Ayurvedic diagnostic and treatment services at all times. VAN had secured seven gold medals in Ayurvedic medicine under the leadership of its founder Dwibhashyam Venkateswarlu.
