A free Eye Medical Camp was conducted for poor people in association with Municipal Corporation this Wednesday. In the purview of 38 and 39 divisional wards, eye checkup was conducted with assistant from Sri Kiran Eye Hospital at Pegoda High School of Prajerpeta. City M.L.A, Dwarampudi Chandrasekhar Reddy started this eye camp. Speaking on this, MLA said that this free Eye Medical Camp would be conducted at other divisional wards. Till date, treatment has been given to nearly 1500 patients by conducting this camp at 16 divisional wards he added. MLA also said that major goal behind this camp is to reduce number of patients suffering from eye related problems and Sri Kiran Eye hospital is supporting in this he added. After conducing eye checkup for 300 people, they noticed that few of them must undergo treatment. Sri Kiran Eye Ophthalmic Technician, Mr. V.Simhachalam, Coordinator Ramesh Naidu and 5 other technicians conducted medical tests. In this program, Corporator’s E.Pattabhi Ramayya, R.Kumar, T.P.O Krishna Mohan, Lanke Gopi and others participated.
