Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University has been awarded with ‘International Excellency Award’. Indo-Global Education Summit-2010 was conducted in Hyderabad from 3rd to 5th of December. Nearly 120 Universities from 40 countries including India participated in this summit. Excellency award will be presented to the universities, which excel in advancement and talent in technical education. JNTU-K College of University was awarded with Education Excellency Engineering. Directors of JNTU-K Mr. K.V.G. Murali Krishna and Mr. E.V. Prasad, who received the award from Union Minister of State for HRD D. Purandeswari, presented it to Vice Chancellor of JNTU-K Prof. Appa Rao. Speaking on this, Prof. Allam Apparao said that the International Excellency award was the result of teamwork done by the entire staff.
