Kakinada Fifth Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate Mr. R.Sanyasi Naidu, on Tuesday, sentenced Kakinada Municipal Corporation Ex Mayor Mrs. Kavikondala Saroja to six-months jail in a cheque bounce case. According to the prosecution, she had borrowed Rs.5 Lakhs from Mr. Srinivas in 2008 year. She did not return the amount to Srinivas when the promised deadline arrived. Later, she issued a cheque which was bounced. So that, Srinivas approached the court to recover his money. After examining the facts brought on record, judge pronounced his judgement here.
