Defence Minister Mr. Pallam Raju said that central university is going to be organised by central Government in Samalkot. He informed this in a press meet that was held yesterday at his residence in Kakinada. Mr. Pallam Raju that they have got the approval for this and they need four acers of land for this. The file is with land revenue commissioner in Hyderabad, he added. We even got an approval for constructing mini indoor stadium with Rs. 5 Crores in Samalkot and also we have made several manifestations to develop tourism in the district with Rs. 50 Crores, he added. He also said that they are going to develop Kakinada Beach and Temples of Draksharamam, Pithapuram, Sarpavaram and Samalkot. We are going to build Shilpa Rama in Vakalpudi, he added. I prefer permanent construction and development works, he added. Things are in pending only because of the slackness of Panchayat Raj, he added.
