District Collector, Mrs. Neethu Kumari Prasad has ordered officials to take immediate actions for the control of Child Labour in the district. She asked them to prepare those children to join in to the Government schools to save their future. She had conducted a review meet with the District Educational Department and Rajiv Vidya Mission officials on this, here on thursday at Collectorate Hall in Kakinada. She noticed that, Government Schools Headmasters should have proper training on schools complex maintainance. We will not tolerate any absurdities on Government Afternoon Lunch (Madhyahnam Bojanam) program in schools, she said. She also ordered them to conduct special classes for 10th class students. She asked them to implement grading method from the unit tests in the schools to filter the students so that to analize their ability. Special training should be provided to average and dull students to get 100% pass percentage in the district, she added. The lessons and the sessions taken by the teachers will be maintained in online from October 1st on-wards, she stated. She said, a total 539 cooking sheds are approved by the government but still 236 sheds are only constructed in the district, so she asked them to complete it as soon as possible. Finally she noticed them to provide all necessary amenities in the schools without any failure. DEO Mr. Srinivasula Reddy, Rajiv Vidya Mission PO Mr. Ramesh, DyEO's, Panchayati Raj Engineers and other officials attended the meet.
