Engineer's Day, which was marked on occasion of Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya's Birth Anniversary in India was grandly celebrated here on Sunday ie., 15th September. According to this, the Lions Club Kakinada has grandly organised the celebrations at Chaitanya Public School in Kakinada. Firstly, the club members offered garlands to the statue of Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya. Later, they have felicitated the Retired R&B Engineer P. Padmaja vani in this program. Speaking on this, the Club Member P. Rama Vijaya Lakshmi has stated that "Engineers are backbones to the development" and Many excellent constructions would happen only with the Engineers. Club members Devaki Devi, Rama Sundari, Jayalakshmi, Meenakshi and others participated in the program.
