The East Godavari District Joint Action Committee (JAC) of Employees, Teachers, Workers and Pensioners, on Friday, staged a huge protest in Kakinada, against the proposal of bifurcation of the state. As a part of this, they formed a human chain at Zilla Parishad center on demanding United State 'Samaikyandhra'. They raised slogans against the bifurcation and demanded the Congress government to the state united and protect the integrity of the country. Many of the Doctors, Lawyers, Teachers, Students, Traders, Intellectuals and other employees from the district, were participated in the stir and rendered their support to the agitation. Speaking on this, JAC District Chairman Mr. Buriga Ashirvadam said that one language-one state should survive and it should not be divided into pieces in view of the future of the country. JAC General Secretary Mr. P.Trinadh, ZP Employees Association President Mr. Molli Satyanarayana, R&B District President Mr. Rammohan Rao, Vice President Mr. Srinivas, AP NGO Association leaders, and many other employee associations were participated & supported the protest.
