Kakinada, April 2nd: The electioneering by various political parties for the Kakinada parliament seat has picked up momentum with the announcement of the contesting candidates by all the major political parties. Though there are many contestants from other parties, the competition is likely to exist between the candidates of TDP, PRP, Congress and BJP. Union Minister of state for defence, Mr. Pallam Raju from congress party is one among the fray.
The others who were in the main competition include Mr. Chalamalasetti sunil from PRP who is likely to file his nomination on April 4, Mr. Vasamsetty Satya from TDP and Mr. Bikkana Visveswara Rao from BJP. Mr. Pallam Raju is hoping for his victory with the various welfare programs taken up by him under the congress rule. Mr. Sunil is depending on the charisma of Chiranjeevi. He also has lot of support from the youth and women voters. He promised the youth to provide them with employment schemes when put to power. The women voters are likely to be more than 50% of the total electorate.
