Eight more swine flu cases identified

Hyderabad, July 13th: Eight more swine flu cases were identified in the city on Monday taking the total number of flu victims to 31. Of the eight cases, seven are interlinked and are said to be a case of “cluster swine flu”. Sources said a 28 year old software professional with HINI virus spread the infection to seven other people. The man has returned to city from Houstan on July 5. He was staying with his seven roommates. The health officials had taken their throat and nasal samples and they were found positive.

 

The man has also held a seminar a few days ago in Banjara Hills. Health officials are now tracing the 150 people who had attended the same seminar. Ten employees of the same company have approached chest hospital and one person has been admitted on hospital with suspected flu symptoms. The officials are requesting the other persons that attended the seminar to go ahead with the swine flu test and take the medication depending upon the necessity.
