Kakinada, Mar 14th: To keep a check on the attendance of the employs working under various organizations in the district, the district administration is going to introduce a new system called e-attendance. The new mode records the time and date of the attendance of a particular employee. In this concern a website has been designed by the National Informatics Centre, East Godavari Unit on the direction of district authorities. The system is implemented in district Collectorate and the administration wants to extend the same to various government offices in the district.
Under this process the employee has to check in the office after giving his thumb impression which records the time of the entry. The administration in this regard is effectively trying to put an end to the habit of coming late by the employs of various departments. Said to be the first of its kind in the country, the administration wants the system to be inaugurated by the Chief Minister, Mr. K. Rosaiah who is expected to visit the district by the end of this month.
