Kakinada, March 7th: Educational authorities of East Godavari district have made elaborate arrangements for the smooth conduct of the SSC and IPE exams for the academic year 2009-10. The exams are scheduled to be conducted from March 10 and March 22 respectively. For the district of 60 mandals, nearly 1.75 lakh students including 98,000 from intermediate will take the exams held at nearly 450 centers including 120 for intermediate. For the effective conduct of the exams a monitoring cell was opened by the authorities with telephone number 884-2473430. The students and parents can contact on this number for any information pertaining to the exams. East Godavari district collector, Mr. Gopala Krishna Dwevedi ordered the RTC authorities to run frequent buses during the examination time and the APEPDCL authorities are advised not to cut the power during the examination hours.
