Kakinada, Dec 30th: A meeting was held by the state government officials at the district collectorate for the effective implementation of the welfare schemes for the welfare of the common man. The welfare committee comprising of managing directors and commissioners of Hyderabad has participated in the video conference organized at collectorate with the district officers.
Issues pertaining to agriculture development, labour unions, forestry, municipal administration, housing board, water management, women and child welfare and many more were raised in the conference. Removals of child labour, organizing of bridge schools were also discussed.
The officers are planning to complete the houses allotted to Scheduled Casts and Scheduled Tribes under Indiramma housing project. Effective measures were also taken on sanitation and construction of guest houses in the district. JC Kona Sasidhar, SP Nagi Reddy, DRO Mohanraju, K. Jeevan Babu, S. Vidyavathi and many more participated in the video conference.
