The District Collector Mrs. Neetu Kumari Prasad has ordered that the children with an age between 1 to 14yrs are must go to schools. Yesterday, she has inaugurated the Education Celebrations at  PR Govt Girls High School in Kakinada. The program was held under the chairmanship of Rajiv Vidya Mission PO Mr. Chakradhar Rao. Speaking on this, she stated, according to the educational act, children with below 14yrs age are must go to schools. Free education should be provided for all those children who will join in govt schools in the district, she noticed. Various welfare schemes are being implemented for all those children in govt schools, she stated. She said, along with valuable education, the govt has providing free books, food & school dress to the children in the govt schools. Collector called the officials to do activities to make all the poor & middle class children to join in government schools. She explained about the welfare schemes, which are implementing for the sake of children studying in the govt schools. She noticed that every school should be provided with bathrooms, drinking water & class rooms facilities. Collector said, these celebrations would be conducted upto 20th of June in the district. Every day a new program will be conducted as a part of these celebrations, she added.
