Hyderabad, June 19th: According to the minister of technical education, Mr. M. Venkata Ramana, the Eamcet-2009 ranks will be released on June 21 at 4pm. The results will be announced at JNTU Hyderabad campus in Kukatpally on Sunday. Earlier the authorities have released the Eamcet marks on June 1 and with the decision taken by them to provide 25 percent weightage of intermediate marks in determining the rank the same were delayed till the release of advanced supplementary inter results.
To facilitate the JNTU to determine Eamcet ranks at the earliest, the Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) expedited the announcement of inter results. The board has even conducted supplementary exams for failed students and announced the results in a record 19 day’s time. The intermediate marks were already sent to the JNTU Hyderabad to enable it to give Eamcet ranking. Eamcet chairman, Prof D.N Reddy said that for engineering aspirants the 25 percent weightage will be determined based on the total marks secured in Maths, Physics and Chemistry and for medical aspirants in Botany, Zoology, Physics and Chemistry.
