Hyderabad, May 6th: With the decision taken by the education authorities on giving 25 percent weightage of intermediate marks in determining the rank in Eamcet, the students appearing for the Eamcet 2009 will have to wait for nearly a month to know their ranks even after the announcement of the results. Apart from CBSC and ICSE boards the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, which is conducting Eamcet has to coordinate with the Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) before announcing the ranks.
BIE has already assured JNTU university about submitting the marks sheet of the students by June 18, and yet to obtain the same from both the boards. According to the Eamcet chairman, D.N Reddy they have sent the notice to the CBSC and ICSE boards to provide the copy of marks sheets before May 31 and also made it clear to them that it will be not possible to give ranks to the students if the results are delayed.
