Hyderabad, May 31st: The marks of Eamcet (Engineering and Medical Common Entrance Test)-2009 will be announced today at 6pm at the AP State Council of Higher Education, Masab Tank, here. The exam for the same was conducted on May 14 and nearly 3, 02,646 students appeared for the engineering stream while 62,656 students appeared for the medial stream. However, only marks will be announced today and the ranks will be given later after the announcement of Intermediate supplementary exam results which are expected on June 18.

Showing the negligence of the officials in setting the papers, nearly 11 questions in Physics were repeated in Set-A in both engineering and medical streams. JNTU-Hyderabad has been drawing flak every year for the errors. This year it has awarded three grace marks while it was 10 marks last year. Normally the questions for engineering and medical streams are different every year. In case if any repetition occurs, the convener identifies them during proof reading and deletes them accordingly. But this time 11 questions were repeated in Physics resulting in leakage of 11 questions before the students sat for the exam.
