Eamcet marks released, ranks on June 22

Hyderabad, June 1st: The Marks of Eamcet (Engineering and Medical Common Entrance Test)-2009 were released here on Monday. The entrance exam for the same was conducted on May 14. Nearly 3, 02,646 students appeared for the engineering stream out of which 89.9 percent were qualified. For the 62,656 students appeared for medical stream, 96.3 percent students got qualified. However the ranks will be announced on June 22 after adding 25 percent weight for intermediate marks. The advanced intermediate supplementary exam results will be announced on June 18.

 

The top five ranks of the engineering stream were bagged by boys with 153 marks as the highest. The students Mr. C. Shivakumar Kashyap from Sri Chaitanya group shared the engineering top rank with other two students of Narayana Group, Mr. Gopal Krishna Murthy and Shaik Allauddin. Ms Kota Keerthana, Mr. Santhosh Swaminathan and Ms Nalla Raveena, all from Sri Chaitanya top scored  149 marks out of 160 in the medical stream. The initial key was also released on Monday.
