Online services were kept on hold in district due to strike by E-Seva employees. All the E-Seva centers have been closed in district. Total 40 different online services were withheld as employees were on strike from Thursday morning 10am. E-Seva centers in Kakinada, Rajahmundry, Amalapuram, Mandapeta, Samarlakota, Pitapuram, Peddapuram and Tuni were closed. More than 150 employees went on strike. Few of the E-Seva staff working in Civil Suppliers Department also went on strike. Due to this services at Civil Suppliers Department were also disturbed. Employees on strike demanded to issue their salaries as per GO No:13, adjustment of duties as shift basis and regular bill payments of mid-day meals.
