Hyderabad, Oct 12th: Driving license test slots can now be booked through the 90 eseva centers in the state. The transport department which entered into an agreement with eseva assured that no additional charges will be collected. Eseva employees will assist applicants in filling up the forms without the needless worry of online forms. The transport authorities are hoping to eliminate brokers with the introduction of booking counters at eseva centers.
As the current online booking facility was confined to few towns, the new initiative would benefit the applicants of all the districts. The joint transport commissioner, Mr. B. Venkateswarulu said that the online system is being implemented successfully. However the technology should not pose problems to the applicants. As a result the decision to approach the eseva centers was taken, he said. The applicants can pay the amount and seek alternative days for the test, if necessary, he added.
