Drive to recruit 1,000 lecturers in the state

Vijayawada, June 28th: Government has decided to taken up the recruitment of 1,000 lecturers in the state very soon. The minister for higher education, Mr. D. Sridhar Babu revealed this to media on Sunday. He was here to unveil a bronze statue of Raja Rangaiah Apparao, the founder of SRR College and Nuzvid zamindar on the college premises.

 

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Sridhar asked the managements of the colleges to introduce courses that would provide immediate employment to the students when they come out of the colleges. He asked the colleges to give preference for employment opportunities while introducing the new course.

 

To give trust to the higher education, the minister said that the congress government allocated Rs 2,500 crore for the fee reimbursement to poor students in the other casts to get the benefit of continuing higher studies. The minister also released a magazine published by the college. Central MLA Mr. Malladi Vishnu made an appeal to the government to release finds for the renovation work of the college.
