Municipal Corporation Commissioner, Mr. V.Ravi Kumar called upon the public to drive out the Polio disease from the district. He flagged off the 'Drive Out Polio Rally 2012' here on Friday for the awareness of public on Pulse Polio program which is to be held on 15th of April. The rally has been conducted in major areas by the students of various schools in Kakinada.Speaking on this, Mr. Ravi Kumar said it was the moral and religious duty of the parents to administer polio drops to their children. He stated that every Voluntary, Students, Youth & Women welfare organizations should put together to contribute their services to this program. Later, Municipal Health Officer (MHO) said, every parent should use this oppurtunity to administer polio drops to their children. Urban Tahsildar Mr. Rammurthy & Municipal Corporation officials participated in this rally.
