Prof. A. S. Kameswara Rao, M.D., Superintendent of Kakinada Government General Hospital, has been elected as a president of Indian Society for Study of Pain (ISSP). He has been selected for this, in the 28th National Conference of ISSP, which was held at Nagpur on 1st of February. He is the first person to start pains clinic in Kakinada GGH on 2002 year. He also worked as a Principal of Rangaraya Medical College, Kakinada.
