Rich tributes were paid in the memory of late Padma Vibhushan Sri K.L.Rao at an official function held at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in Kakinada on Friday to mark his 110 birth anniversary celebrations. Institute of Engineers Association Kakinada Division, Retired Irrigation Engineers Association organized these celebrations. According to this, D.E Mr. Prabhakara Rao presided over the celebrations. Engineers Association former President Mr. S.Nagabhushanam, JNTU-K Registrar Mr. V.Ravindra offered garlands to picture of Sri K.L.Rao. Speaking on this, Mr. Ravindra stated that every young engineer should know about K.L.Rao and his achievements. Engineers Mr. S.V.Ramarao, Mr. Subrahmanya Sastry, Mr. P.S.Sankar Rao, JNTU-K Principal Mr. Uday Bhaskar, Mr. G.V.R.Prasad Raju, Mr. Padma Raju and others participated in these celebrations.
