Hyderabad, Sep 4th: Son of Dr. Raja Shekar Reddy and Kadapa MP, Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy appealed the public not to commit suicides and resort to extreme steps in this hour of grief. He issued a statement urging people not to hurt themselves and commit suicides as it would hurt his father’s soul. “Don’t think that he is no more. YSR is in every ones heart. The people who have a better life today due to his schemes will always remember him”, Mr. Jagan Mohan said.
Jagan made this appeal as nearly 140 supporters of Dr. Reddy died till Friday unable to bear the loss of their leader. While 115 people died of cardiac arrest another 25 committed suicide. Alarmed at the number of deaths, the Chief Minister, Mr. M.K Rosaiah and Jagan repeatedly appealed to people to maintain restraint and not to resort to extreme steps. Jagan consoled innumerable people who offered their last respects to Y.S Raja shekar Reddy. He kept his hands folded offering salutation to the people during the funeral procession.
