District SP Gattamaneni Srinivas got transferred and appointed as Vishaka Rural SP. In place of Srinivas, Narsipatnam Officer on Special Duty (OSD), Mr. Trivikrama Varma was appointed as SP for East Godavari District. Higher Officials had passed transfer orders here on Friday. Mr. Srinivas was working as Intelligence SP in Hyderabad in past and was transferred to district on 28 April 2010. He always made special focus on control of crime in District. He also worked on suppression of Maoists in district. In the most terrible murder cases of Retired RDO Nelli Verriyya Naidu and Old lady Raja Rajeswari of Vakalpudi, SP Srinivas solved the mystery within one month. In the ‘Dial Your SP’ program conducted everyday, he interacted with people and police staff on the problems faced. He also took actions for conducting ‘Jana Mythri’ Program successfully.
