Intermediate Second Year results has been announced by the Board of Intermediate for 2011-12 academic year here on Tuesday. According to the results, East Godavari District achieved 57% pass percentage. A total of 31,753 candidates were qualified in the examination out of 36,001 students from the district. Of which, total 8,197 boys qualified out of 15,031 with 57.72% pass percentage and 9,819 girls qualified out of 16,722 with 58.72 pass percentage. 2,754 students qualified out of 6,396 students under Vocational courses with 43%  pass percentage from the district. However, the pass percentage of the district has been decreased by 3% when compared to previous year stats. Rajavommangi Government college stood first among the Government junior colleges in the district with 86% pass percentage, Sitanagaram College got second position with 83%  pass percentage and Rayavaram College got third position with 78% pass percentage. Speaking on this, District Regional Joint Director, Mr. Arora stated that students who are looking for Recounting or Revaluation of their papers should pay Rs.600/- fee for each subject on or before 2nd of May at e-Seva/ AP Online centers with clear details of their address & contacts. After paying the fee, students have to inform to their respective College Principal, he added.
