Inter District Swimming Championship Competitions were conducted on 10th and 11th of this month at Gachibowli Stadium, Hyderabad. District Sportsperson bagged several medals in these competitions. Sportsperson bagged four gold, two silver and three bronze medals. In the Under 15-17 girls category, R.Meghanjali attained gold medal in 50,100 meters butterfly round and bronze medal in 50 meters back stroke. In the Under 13-14 categories, P.Devi Priya attained gold medals in 100,200 meters backstroke and 100,200 meters butterfly round. Similarly, she also attained silver medal in the 400 meters EM. Another student, K.Lasya achieved bronze medal in 50 meters backstroke. In the Boys category, SK Saifuddin attained Silver medal in 50meters butterfly and bronze medal in 100meters butterfly round. Selected candidates R.Meghanjali and P.Devi Priya will be participating in National Level Competitions at Chennai from 11th to 15th July. Similarly, SK Saifuddin has been selected to participate in the National Level Boys Competitions which will be conducted from 1st to 4th July at Gujarat.
